Jose Pastor

Graduated in Law by Complutense University and Master in International Business Management by ICEX, he has developed his career in the audiovisual sector, specializing in television fiction and cinema.

He has been coordinator of international relations for FAPAE, head of programming at the Warner group, director of programming and acquisitions at the Viacom group, producer of feature films and manager of the Film Academy.

He currently directs the RTVE group’s film and fiction strategy, with a special focus on independent production and a firm commitment to co-productions with European public television.

Julio Rojas

Julio Rojas, author, screenwriter and writer, is one of Chile’s most awarded screenwriters. He has worked as a creator, screenwriter, story editor and consultant on numerous TV series, feature films and audio series for platforms such as Amazon, Apple, Spotify and others. Julio Rojas has written more than a dozen feature films (including “La Vida de los Peces”, Goya Award for Best Foreign Film) and has worked on series such as “El Refugio” (Starz) and “Familia de Medianoche” (Apple TV+). His screenplay “La Vida de los Peces” won the Goya Award for Best Ibero-American Film in 2012. His feature film scripts include “Sábado”, “Mi Mejor Enemigo”, “En la Cama” and “La Memoria del Agua”, all of which have won numerous international awards.

As a writer, his historical crime novel “El Visitante Extranjero” (PENGUIN RANDOM HOUSE) has been published in Spain and Chile (currently being adapted into the VIX Movistar series “El Dentista”); the dystopian thriller “El Fin del Metaverso” (PENGUIN RANDOM HOUSE); the youth dystopian novel “FREELAND” (PLANETA); and the prequel thriller “RETORNADOS” (HACHETTE MEXICO). He has also written the horror audio series “Creepyhunters” and “Quemar Tu Casa” (SPOTIFY-FABULA), the thriller “Cisne Rojo” (AMAZON MUSIC) and the science fiction trilogy “Borrado”, “Turing” and “Confluencia” for EMISOR STUDIOS. He has also written the Spanish audio series about Mars, “Retornados” (ONDA CERO-SONORA) and the Caso 63 spin-off “ENIGMA” (SPOTIFY-EMISOR PODCAST). Other works include “FOOM” (EMISOR STUDIOS) about the dangers of AI, the suspense and anticipation audio series “SIMULACRO” (EL EXTRAORDINARIO) and “SELECCIÓN NATURAL” (SPOTIFY-EMISOR STUDIOS), an innovative audio fiction about artificial intelligence.

Julio Rojas is the author of the acclaimed science fiction audio series “CASO 63” (SPOTIFY-EMISOR PODCAST), winner of the 2022 Ondas Award for Best Podcast, adapted in India, Brazil and the United States. Recognised by the New York Times as one of the best audiobooks of 2020 and winner of the 2022 Ondas Award for Best Fiction Podcast. The English version of CASE 63 (GIMLET MEDIA, JULIANNE MOORE, OSCAR ISAAC) has been acclaimed by the critics, remaining at number 1 in the global rankings and becoming one of the most listened-to podcasts of recent times.

 

Silvia Cotino

Degree in Business Administration from the University of Valencia and degree in Marketing from Aarhus Business School. Masters in Audiovisual Content Creation and Management from the European University and Masters in Communication, Protocol and PR from ESERP Business School. Since 2020, Deputy Director of Sales and Business Development at Mediterráneo Mediaset España Group.

My career began 23 years ago at Canal + Spain in various commercial areas of the Sogecable Group, starting in the international sales department of Produce + (documentary production company), then in the marketing department of Sogecine and Sogepaq (film production company) and finally in the diversification department of Cuatro. In 2011 I joined the commercial department of Mediaset España, in the area of international sales. In 2019, Mediterráneo Mediaset España Group was created, a company of the Mediaset España Audiovisual Group specialised in the production of exclusive content, the development of original projects and worldwide distribution, and I joined as Assistant Director of Sales and Business Development.

Chema Garcia Jimenez

Chema García Jiménez is an entrepreneur and business executive with extensive experience in new technologies applied to the publishing, audiovisual and film sectors. He is co-founder of Lantia Publishing and Lantia Films, companies that manage more than 85,000 books by 40,000 authors and 300 publishers, operating in Europe and America. A pioneer in the introduction of e-books and print-on-demand in Spain and Latin America since 2001, he has driven the digital transformation of the sector.

He has led and founded several innovative B2B and B2C projects. His entrepreneurial approach has been recognised with awards such as the Red Herring Europe and Global awards, which highlight the 100 most innovative companies in the world.

Currently, Chema remains active as a partner and executive in several technology and publishing companies.

 

Victor Lamadrid

Telecommunications engineer, with more than 20 years of experience in the cultural sector. Director of Cantabria Film Commission and vice-president of Spain Film Commission. Coordinator of the catalog of short films “Cantabria en corto”, which this year celebrates its tenth edition, organizer of the training sessions Diálogos de cine y producción (DCP), of which 35 have been held to date, to promote the audiovisual sector in Cantabria. Speaker at festivals such as the European Film Festival of Seville, Aguilar de Campoo, SEMINCI, or Malaga, jury of various competitions and catalogs of short films. Curator of the exhibition “Spain, a country of cinema”, inaugurated at the Berlinale 2019, and of the exhibition “Cantabria de cine” inaugurated in 2023 in Berlin.
